Salary: Circa £110k base + £7620 Allowance + 30 days holiday + Benefits
Hybrid role – 3 days a week in the London office
Responsibilities:
My client, a leading Commercial Banking/Trade Finance organisation, is looking to hire a Cyber Security Manager with detailed hands-on experience.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Operational Risk and work closely with the Head of Information Security on a broad range of Cyber Security initiatives. These will include but not be limited to: maintaining compliance with the framework (NIST), acting as a Cyber Sec expert in 2nd line of defence, regulatory compliance, ensuring that tech solutions are delivered in accordance with the correct policies and standards, working on methods to defend the bank from Cyber threats and ensuring that IT Sec Ops are within risk tolerances.
Desired Skills:
- Detailed background in a similar level Cyber Security Manager position and detailed Cyber Security expertise
- Solid background in Banking/Financial Services or a similarly regulated sector – ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience of leading the definition and delivery of company-wide Cyber Security related strategies and initiatives
- Strong understanding of impending Cyber threats and how to defend against them
- Detailed understanding of Cyber Security compliance
- Experience in Data Leakage prevention
- Background in working closely with 1st line of defence teams whilst being a 2nd line of defence Cyber Security expert
- Security accreditations – CISSP, CISA and/or CISM
- Strong knowledge of current Security standards – NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CyberEssentials
- Solid knowledge of IT Security Operations – tools, processes and policies – patching, vulnerability scanning, pen testing
- Comfortable working in all forms of Cloud environments
- Extensive stakeholder management skills and outstanding communication skills – verbal and written
