Hybrid Role: 3 days a week in the New York office
My client, a reputable Financial Services organisation, is looking to hire a Development Manager to join the business. This position will provide the perfect platform towards becoming a CTO within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
The role will be split into two parts: the first is to manage a small development team and deliver a large-scale transformation programme, moving the firm from legacy applications to the Cloud.
The second part of the role will be to deliver a Front Office transformation project, working with Quants to deliver a modernisation of their Cloud offering.

Desired Skills and Background:
· Proven track record as an IT Development Manager, gained within Financial Services organisations
· Ambitious, self-starting attitude – desire to be the best at what you do
· Proven experience of delivering legacy applications to Cloud migration projects and programmes
· Ability to conceptualise and, crucially, deliver in a fully hands-on capacity
· Previous experience of working closely with global external service providers
· Proven background of working with Product, Technology and Business stakeholders to design and implement applications, scripts and integrations
· Hands-on experience of designing, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
· Expert knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure and AWS)
· Strong line management skills – proven ability to improve Developer performance and retain strong team morale
· Experience of working with Front Office technical teams highly regarded
